Ah, then you must be blissfully unaware of weeaboos. hah ha.
But seriously, anything resembling Japan in America is imported from Japan (such as Japanese food and certain architectural anomolies), there are not really any significant convergent cultural qualities that aren't part of the shared human experience.
The closest thing to Japanese culture in America is the Japanese community in Hawaii.
