Slovakia/Hungary - Ukraine (no other bordering countries have such high both cultural and economical differences)
Eastern Slovakia probably isn't that much different from Ukraine in terms of economy, and other things, too... (Bratislava - Soviet style architecture and litter everywhere )

I'm also from Bratislava and I guess we all like to joke that eastern Slovakia is the third world, but I actually took a train to Ukraine once and it was nothing like you could see anywhere in Slovakia, just a completely different world.
Finland and Russia Norway and Russia
Estonia and Russia
Israel and all its neighbors
South and North Korea
China and India
China and Russia
Brazil and France
Isn't there a significant number of Sámi people in that region?
What about the difference in language, religion and size?
For the language, most of countries worldwide speak different language than its neighbors Europe is a good example.
For religion, it is true that Georgia has a bigger number of Christians than in Turkey
For the size, I wouldn't classify a country different than another just because of differences in size
Turkey and Georgia both share similar customs, traditions and food
Countries that are different are the ones who have different culture and traditions such as China and India
Despite Hunarian language is related to Finnish, Hungary has much more in common with bordering Slavic countries (Ukraine, Slovakia, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia) and Romania than Finland.
And more: the distance between Hungarian and Finnish is the same of that between English and Pashtun. The genetic relation in fact exists, but the common ancestor of both was spoken many millennia ago. For most practical purposes, Hungarian is an isolate.
