At least this thread is gettting back again.

I have some more

Gary, IN - Liverpool,UK: Both are industrial cities that underwent major hardships and are home to famous music groups(and musicians). For Gary:Jackson 5(Michael Jackson) and Liverpool:The Beatles(and Paul McCartney). Interestingly enough, Michael and Paul sang in two duets.

Buffalo,NY - Klaipeda, Lithuania: Both cities have German and Eastern European influences. Both are maritime cities. Archtecture looks somewhat similar, but Buffalo doesn't have the red roofs.

Duluth,MN - Kemi, Finland: Duluth has sizeable Finnish influene. At one time a Finnish-language newspaper was printed there. Both cities are blue-collar and close to mining and forest regions as well as being port towns. Both are extremely cold.

Houston,TX - Antwerp, Belgium: Maritime cities with major petrochemical industries.

Rome, Georgia-Rome, Italy

Actually they are not at all similar except for the name, and the fact that Benito Mussolini gifted Rome, Georgia with a statue of the Capitoline Wolf in 1939. Oh, and the whole seven hills thing.

I can post many more cities if you want me to. Your clearly lying about your travels, or your too blinded by your ignorence and anti Americanism to see past your deluded statements. There are Starbucks on every street all over the world and the skylines are just part of the character.
Philadelphia does have some European influences. I like the one with the horse statue. I can't quite think of a European city what looks similar.

Very nice. I have some you might like.

Atlanta,GA - Warsaw,Poland (cities that were obliterated in a war and rose up again, basically "phoenix" cities. Both are inland).

New Orleans,LA - Bucharest,Romania(both are known as the "Paris" of their respective regions. Both have known hard times and disasters. Bucharest with its 1974 earthquake and Hurricane Katrina for New Orleans. Architecture for both cities similar, with Bucharest having more buildings being larger.)

Seattle,WA - Reykjavik,Iceland (relatively clean city, Nordic influence, nothern location, relatively mild climate given its latitudes).
