No way! Those countries have some issues due to the split. When they agreed to leave Yugoslavia, they had agreed to provide mutual defense for one another. Well, Slovenia was invaded by the JNA although there were no casualties. Croatia did not keep it's promise and Slovenia warned that to defend Slovenia was to also defend Croatia because they would be next. Croatia was more cautious because unlike Slovenia, it had a native Serb population. Nonetheless the JNA would then invade Croatia in an attempt to control the Serb minority area starting with the relentless bombing of the town of Vukovar. Slovenia's reaction was something to the effect of "oh well, they got nothing more than they deserved".

There's bad blood between almost all of former Yugoslavia.

maybe not in 10, 20 or 50 years. but, i think within next 100 years, as china slowly becomes a democratic country, with chinese characteristics. remember, china is more free now than 10 years ago, which was more free than 10 years before that, etc.

Well yeah it's personal to me, check my location.
And those countries that follow China's bullying all treat us differently, I guess the reality speaks louder.

That depends. The US and some other countries do not recognize Taiwan as a country. Many sources also say that it is part of China so you cannot make such a claim. Perhaps from your perspective that's true but not for everyone.

Not recognising Taiwan is a major copout. I guess it's called keeping the peace.

Well, it seems as though most of the countries in the world have no diplomatic relations with Taiwan and they lost their representation in the United Nations. Looks like it's a place in limbo.

Well, only to appease China. Most (or all; even the PRC) countries are well aware of Taiwan's sovereignty.

Most countries do have (unofficial) diplomatic relations to Taiwan, their offices aren't called embassies or consulates, though.

The Koreas will be re united again one day, all depends on the time it takes for the North to collapse. Possible that Taiwan and China could do the same, although that one would have to be more of a voluntary merger based on the settlement of the political and economic differences as neither nation is failing in the same way North Korea is.

One thing that could happen in the next 50 years is the formation of a North American Union much like the EU, which unifies currency and some policy, all while preserving the sovereignty of North Americas three nations. (or two nations if it ends up being only Canada and USA) The success of the EU makes a North American union more likely in the future.
