First your mighty empire somehow finds a way to be defeated and surrenders to them, then they bail you out two times, now you rely on them for all technology and cultural influence and adopt all of the values that the American rebels were advocating in the first place. They carved out of the largest empires in human history, and against people with firearms, not swords, sticks, and stones like the Europeans did hundreds of years ago. The Japanese prove that not only white people have "demons" inside. Look also at the Ottoman Empire, the Islamic Caliphate before that (one of the most brutal empires ever, convert or be killed), the Roman Empire (well, they were the only empire to enslave and conquer other whites, so I guess they're ok ), the second largest empire in human history the Mongolian Empire, etc.

Even if they wanted independence they can't. States cannot declare independence from the US. Once you're in, there's no turning back

I know that the Mongols killed ALOT of people but they didn't make it far west into Europe. So I'm not a European hater but what European colonists did still affect the present day which is way its ''fresh''

Well, they can certainly try to. But they won't be successful. When Obama was president in his first term, Rick Perry decided to saber-rattle and was talking about Texas independence, and Obama talked about declaring a no-fly zone over Texas if Perry was serious. You CANNOT back out. That question has been put to rest in 1865 with hundreds of thousands of American lives. If any tea partier thinks they can declare independence, I suggest they pay a visit to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

The Mongols irreversibly changed the cultures of China and Korea forever. Who knows what they would be without that Mongolian influence. The Qing, Ming, and Han Dynasties also supplanted parts of native Korean culture as well over 1000+ years, and took half of Korean territory away from them (Goguryeo Korea). The only reason why people are complaining about Europeans now is because it's the most recent. A lot of the present-dya troubles in eastern Asia right now were the direct result of Japanese hegemony starting with the Meiji Restoration. But of course, nobody complains about that. Every nerdy, geeky, Westerner (yes Irene, that includes the Americas too. You are Western whether you like it or not) falls on their feet to worship the Japanese.

They voted to become a US state with full knowledge that it's against the law to leave. They were actually turned down twice before successfully joining. There is a Hawaiian independence party, but it is a fringe movement.

Lol someone is in denial. Mississipi looked just like England to me, except with better weather. I know it's hard to admit that. Besides, stop using Mississippi as a measurement bar, the UK is poorer than Mississippi, and that is a fact.
