These are Moroccan Berbers

Another common name for epicantical fold, is Nordic Fold.

Look at the Sami people for example:

Maybe? Maybe the snow is different that far north. Less moisture in the air? We are talking about radiation. Snow reflects up to 80% of UV radiation. Dry sand, reflects 15%.

There is a reason more modern Inuit even went so far as to develop these for protection:

^^ look familiar?

As I said, I have no doubt that the Inuit eyes are the shape they are due to their Asian heritage, but I have no doubt this is why they were originally developed this way. Theropod's explanation of it being a "fluke" is wrong, as I've just shown Europeans, and North Africans with epicanthal folds. You can't just poo-poo this stuff away as urban legend.

But some do.

These men are Irish
That Berbers you linked looked like they had regular small eyes. I don't seen any epicanthol folds. Same thing with the Irishmen - They are merely Europeans with small eyes (look at Bill Maher, Julian Assange, Anderson Cooper). Just because your eyes are small doesn't always mean they have epicanthal folds.

Above all, Europeans and North Africans with epicanthal folds are a huge minority. And the Samis are Eurasian at best. They're not "pure" Caucasian.

What about Finns? They're related to the Samis

Samis might be closer to the Finns out of the other Europeans, but they do have a lot more in common with Asiatic peoples ("Mongoloids").

The man you linked can easily pass as a full Caucasian/European. He looks like Ian McKellen and John Hurt (who are English). His epicanthal folds aren't that pronounced. But then again, I realized, there are Samis with non-slanted eyes (excluding the girl second to left):

This is a joke? No they aren't. The Sami aren't related to any particular ethnicity in Europe. Neither are they closely related to any West Asiatic ethnicity, like the Samoyeds.

It's proposed, and quite likely, that we aren't even from the same Ice Age refugia. Finns are from the Eastern refuge (Balkans/Ukraine), while the Samis are from the Western (Pyrenees). Some scholars have proposed that the Samis in fact are the Northern Basques.

The connection with the Saami and the Basques is through the maternal haplogroup V which is found in significant numbers in both populations athough the Saami diverged 7600 YBP most likely from the Mari the current thinking is that Mtdna arrived in Europe during the neolithic.

You mean everyone with single eyelid in Japan is Korean? How's that possible?

Princess Aiko of Japan, she obviously has single eyelid and she most certainly is 100% blue-blood Japanese(unless she isn't....).
