After how many years in a new country you felt you are home?

I don't care why you are there, I don't care who you are (immigration or not, heritage etc. does not matter)

I am just interested how many years it took to feel inside this is your home. I have been moving inside a country and already that makes feeling foreigner sometimes if going total different cultural area. I think longest time it took from me was 9 years. Till that I always felt I am not home. Now I guess I have 2 homes, lol.. I wonder if it goes like over half of own life and then you grow into new place?

If very big culture differences, which was the hardest?

I do not know, but as for me... it took me about 3 years or so because I was assimilated into everything very fast. However, my views have changed over the decades and now I believe I am a foreigner in my own home haha
