You put Venezuela and leave out countries like Australia...?
Okay.
Screw it I'll do Australia anyway.
Sydney - Most famous of the Australian cities, and is one of the economic strongholds of Australia.
Melbourne - Almost as big as Sydney, another economic stronghold and the cultural capital of Aus.
Perth - The only city on the West Coast so it had to be included, it is important geographically.
In the United States is pretty easy to identify what our three greatest cities are, New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago, and basically in that order also. But what are the three GREATEST cities in the following countries?
United Kingdom
Germany
France
Italy
Russia
Japan
China
India
South Korea
Mexico
Brazil
Venezuela
Answer any number of these countries, even if you only list one that's fine. I'm curious on everyone's opinion here.
I am only going to answer for the countries that I actually have any interest in which includes 5 of the ones listed.
UK: London, Edinburgh, Liverpool
France: Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon
Italy: Milan, Venice, Rome
South Korea: I don't think this is really possible as Seoul is really the heart of the nation and all other cities pale in comparison.
Brazil: Rio, Sao Paulo, Salvador(?)
Japan: Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya
China: Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong (or Guangzhou if HK is not included)
India: Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata
South Korea: Seoul, Busan, Incheon (or Daegu if Incheon is just considered satellite city of Seoul)
Mexico: Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara
Brazil: Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia
Venezuela: Caracas, Maracaibo, ?
others not yet mentioned:
Taiwan: Taipei, Kaohsiung, Taichung
Vietnam: Saigon, Hanoi, Da Nang
Philippines: Manila, Cebu, Davao
Indonesia: Jakarta, Surabaya, Medan
Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru
Turkey: Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir
Can't comment on most other countries, but the three most important cities in Germany are definitely Berlin, Hamburg and Munich. While Frankfurt is an important banking/administrative city, Hamburg is influencing Germany to a much greater extent.
The three most important cities of Austria are Vienna, Graz and Linz. The latter two get outshined by Innsbruck and Salzburg, but are only important from a tourists point of view.
United Kingdom - London, Manchester, Birmingham/Glasgow
Germany - Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich/Hamburg
France - Paris, Marseille, Lyon
Italy - Rome, Milan, Venice
Russia - Moscow, St. Petersburg, ?
Japan - Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto/Nagoya
China - Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong/Guangzhou
India - New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata
South Korea - Seoul, Busan, Incheon
Mexico - Mexico City, Guadalajara, ?
Brazil - Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Brasilia, Recife
Venezuela - Caracas...

Nah Brisbane is definitely ahead of Perth. WA as a whole is an important state though.
Mexico: San Blas, Catemaco, Felipe Carillo Puerto. If you don't like bird-watching, you'll probably prefer to use other criteria, but the OP didn't specify any criteria, so those are mine.
Yeah pretty much. Three massive dumps located in the north, south, and middle of the island.
(Before anyone accuses me of being cynical and blind and ****, I'm just kidding lol)
