Which of the list out of the 10 most livable cities you wish to live in?
here is the ranking for each:
1, Melbourne - Australia
2, Vienna - Austria
3, Vancouver - Canada
4, Toronto - Canada
5, Calgary - Canada
6, Adelaide - Australia
7, Sydney - Australia
8, Auckland - New Zealand
9, Helsinki - Finland
10, Zurich - Switzerland Daily chart: The world's most 'liveable' cities | The Economist
There are a few American cities in the top twenty-five in most of these lists when they are released each year but I'm not sure which has made it each year because I generally briefly if at look at each list each year.
I know Pittsburgh was up there a few years ago on Economist and a few others. I know Indianapolis was on a few of the other lists as well. Kind of surprising choices, but Pittsburgh is an American success story in a sense.
I'm goin to pick San Diego even though it is not on the list. You can't beat the climate.
+1
San Diego is so so amazing. Great city.
LOL for Toronto. I live in Toronto. Right now as I write this there a steady, cold wind from the north. Temps are hovering around 12 C (burrr)..and that's only for early October. Just imagine what it'll be like in a few months.
My choice would be Vienna. Nice location, clean and well run, and a beautiful city (been there three times).
LOL! No American cities whatsoever? hmmm whoever made this list probably isn't biased or anything.....
List are always subjective depending on the criteria. The reason the US cities tend to not show up is usually
" affordable healthcare " " costs of education " and " safety ".
For example for safety, the murder rate is usually higher in US cities than Canada, Europe and Australia. That alone is probably enough to knock you guys down the list.

Vienna isn't significantly warmer than Toronto though.
