For a superior experience to your own daily lifestyle, only enter Independent Cafes. They give you everything that you require. Already equally practical natural given. Offer us every memory on your life around these available resources.

Please avoid those nasty parasite Starbucks chain stores at all costs. Or at least reduce these wrongly superficial cravings. Why for crying out loud is that virus ending up this popular at just some corners of this galaxy area. Support Independent Coffee stores way before.

Gradual decay from 2000-2010 into the next decade!

See how Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Bulgaria, Portugal, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Vietnam, Costa Rica fell victim to this sterile jail cell that is not relevant.

Fortunately, after visually comprehending the final map, a vast majority of these nations only have a few handfuls or less of these negative chains. Not nearly devastating except for UK especially, USA, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan.

To put things in perspective of the estimated 22,845 Coffee outlets in the UK, Starkbucks account for 898 outlets.

Indeed Starbucks aren't even the biggest coffee chain in the UK, that would be British chain Costa Coffee with a 53% outlet share of the branded coffee shop market and 2,121 outlets, Caffè Nero has a futher 650 outlets and Cofffee Republic has 326 outlets. Whilst small and medium sized boutique chains such as Coffee#1, Joe & the Juice, and Taylor St. Baristas are outpacing the growth of the major chains and already established British chains such as Pret A Manger are increasing their coffee sales.

Tim Hortons also recently opened it's first UK outlets.

So not every country is dominated by Starkbucks in terms of Coffee, and even the fast food markets have seen more upmarket competition and more choice, whilst Lidl and Aldi have shaken up the UK Retail Sector, where British Chain Tesco still dominates.

There are about 1400 Starbucks in Canada. Vancouver, was the first Starbucks outside of the US. The location is still there.
There are over 3500 Tim Horton locations.

As a Vancouverite, Starbucks was here before Tim Horton. Tim Horton's was an Ontario thing, we never heard of it until they opened a shop in 1994.

Starbucks opened up in Vancouver in 1987.

This business article explains it quite well.

As for quality. I dislike Tim Horton's. I never go except to buy my mother maple doughnuts.
I much prefer the myriad of smaller chains, and independent shops that actually offer better coffee than both Starbucks and Tim Horton's.
