African countries are on the top, East Asian countries at the bottom. The US is in the middle.

Good to see the numbers of Japan and South Korea...

Any news about Japanese or South Korean society "disintegrating" due to lack of religion?

Russia, 19?
I dunno, what importance it was, say, for "Pussi Riot" girls?

No surprises that Australia is near the bottom.

I would have thought Pakistan, Palestine and Jordan would be higher up than that

All in all, relatively to the region it's in, the West Bank is quite secular and could have been. even more so if it wasn't for the everlasting Israel/Palestine issue which pushed several people towards stricter religious groups such as Hamas. I wouldn't be surprised if there was actually a large difference between the more conservative Gaza (where Hamas rules) and the more liberal West Bank (where left wing Fatah rules)

I wouldn't be surprised either. Although I think that region of the Muslim world is less strict, as well as Turkey.

The Orthodox influence holds a large support in Russia to the point that the government has put increasingly stricter measures towards minorities (such as the LGBT community). Russia's atheism is also a remnant of Soviet times and is quickly decreasing
