I've got a thing for flags and let's face it, some countries have better flags than others. What are you favorites?

Maybe I'm biased, but Ol' Glory is a great flag

The Union Jack is pretty cool too

Brazil

Maybe I'm biased here towards the "land of my fathers", but the flag of Wales with the dragon is pretty cool too:

Iceland. Pretty much all of the Scandanavian cross ones are cool.

Finland. The icy blue and white make a beautiful flag

...and downunder in Australia:

Our neighbors to the north have a nice flag too:

Viva la France!

Spain

Well, I know this isn't a country, but I have always LOVED the New Mexico flag.

Oh and gotta love Cambodia's with Angkor Wat on it.

Canada's is great, and I secretly wish we could trade with them...

Those are the only ones that come to mind. New Mexico is definitely my favorite though.

..

I've heard of them banning/discouraging St. George (another decent looking flag) in England, I didn't know they were doing that in ol' Cymru. How disturbing, I think political correctness is going to be Europe's downfall.

I see St. George in it and the Fluer d' Lis (sp?), but what do those colors represent in that flag, if anything?
