Pretty funny I agree except for Canada
US and Canada would be more like Marcia and Jan Brady. Canada is Jan Brady, the US is Marcia.
For the USA I would say Canada, closely followed by the U.K. and Australia. Culture language and history unite us, the anglosphere does mean something.
The US is an independent country thanks to France, as a country we never fought a (real) war with France, we bought about one-third of our territory from France, and France gave us the Statue of Liberty, we came to the aid of France in WW-I and helped liberate France in WW-II. We like French Fries and attribute unusual, exotic or sexy stuff to France.
France and the USA have far more historical ties than most people in either country would like to admit. Both nations have depended on the other at different times. Britain would likely have beat us without French help. The Germans would have been very difficult to dislodge from France in Ww2 without US help. All this is true with both nations being quite different from one another. Americans and Frenchmen should have more respect for each other and the massive positive roles we have played in each other's histories for the past several centuries. The smack talk between French and American people sometimes makes you think we are not friendly nations toward each other. History however proves we are friends.

Absolutely correct, France is really nothing like America. I was just trying to make the point that we have been important to each other in spite of those differences. The US is an Anglo nation, most everything here has British roots, same as Australia and Canada.
