It's the same few cities that are the biggest centers for global wealth.
The great thing about NYC is that everything is so compact and quickly accessible by subway or even just by walking. Even the richest and most iconic places in Manhattan are. It feels like the world is at your doorstep.
Also, you're not even understanding the link you're posting. It's not a ranking of the most common destinations for high-income folks, which is what we're discussing here.
It's a poll of city preferences for certain business types, which is why you have tiny cities like Geneva and Zurich ranked alongside (or above) huge cities/massive wealth centers like LA and Tokyo.
