What are your top 10 favorite cities in the world and bottom 10 least favorite cities in the world?

You can give an explanation, maybe things you like about each or don't like about each, or just a list would work too.

Only major cities or we can include other minor cities?

Top 10
01. Melbourne =TIE
01. Miami =TIE
01. Sydney =TIE
04. Barcelona
05. Seoul
06. Vancouver
07. New York
08. Tokyo
09. Hong Kong
10. London

Reason:

Melbourne-Sydney-Miami: Overall my three personal favorite cities in the world. All are pure coastal metropolises with an identifiable and large electronic scene and outdoors culture. Climate, setting, diversity are superb features to them too.

Barcelona: Super urban city with the most ideal location, climate, urban fabric, city life, and well, just about everything in the world.

New York-Tokyo-Hong Kong-London-Seoul: Super large cities with an overwhelmingly busy feel and pace to them. Incredible density and sheer concentration of amenities and points of interest.

Vancouver: An ideal location in North America's Pacific Rim. Extremely beautiful surroundings, near three other nice cities in Victoria, Seattle, and Portland. Love the seafood and Asian foods there. Very diverse, an outdoorsy person's absolute dream location in North America.

Bottom 10:
01. Pyongyang
02. Demascus
03. Philadelphia
04. Saint Louis
05. Beijing
06. Lagos
07. Cairo
08. Calcutta
09. Karachi
10. Dhaka

Reason:

Dhaka-Karachi-Calcutta-Cairo-Lagos for third world conditions. Excessively unsanitary environments. Several aspects of complete dysfunction and disarray.

Demascus and Pyongyang: Extreme poverty and third world conditions. Military state or terrorist haven. Crippling to completely dysfunctional environment. Oppressive regulations and laws.

Beijing: Pollution, congestion, traffic, gridlock, excessively pricey environment for what you actually get out of it. The congestion and traffic, infrastructural strains from what I can tell get worse by the day. The pollution is awful too.

Philadelphia and Saint Louis: I don't like it.

What happened to Paris and Madrid? You were very positive about them a few weeks ago.

I like both and am still very positive about both as well but I still like at least 10-11 other cities even more so than those two (including Tel-Aviv; not on the list because it would be my #11).

Paris and Madrid, along with Amsterdam, several German cities, Stockholm, Auckland, Haifa, and some medium sizes American cities would come right after those 10-11 I mentioned earlier in this thread or in this post. After these would be Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Bangkok.
