If you were in your mid 20's, single and male and had a decent amount of money... where would you rather live and why?
Please rank the cities in terms of:
1. Safety
2. Upscale areas (to shop, dine and walk around without getting mugged)
3. Climate
4. Attractiveness of girls
5. Cost of living
6. Things to do
7. Beauty/natural surroundings
Not knowing too much about any of these three, I would pick Cartagena. That said there’s a number of things about Santo Domingo and MedellÃn that are perhaps equally if not more enticing. MedellÃn would seem to have the most immediately appealing natural scenery, climate and true city environment (not just old city but citywide), as it’s the densest City in the Americas.
Great, another sex tourist. This is why visiting these cities have become less appealing. Too many American sex tourist. I have pretty much scratched these cities off my list of places to visit.

Let's be real. Too many American, Canadian and European sex tourists...
MedellÃn is clean, very well-kept. Weather is less harmful than in Cartagena or Santo Domingo. More attractive culture imo. Hotter girls. Good transport system. Loads of parks and green spaces.
It's a nice place not gonna lie, even by international standards.
Santo Domingo is unfortunately one of the least attractive of the three cities. Kind of wish that Dominican Republic had one city that was something like a Havana or Cartagena. It's an otherwise amazing place with the Carribbean beaches and mountains, just lacks one of those engaging charming cities.
