Pyongyang without a doubt. It appears clean and I have a much better chance of not being killed when I step foot there.

This question is the same to ask: "do you prefer being executed by electric chair or by gas chamber?".

I completely agree. I think it is safe in Pyongyang and if you demonstrate respect for Kims, Korean Labour Party, communist monuments and party museums and etc then nothing will happen to you.

I agree Pyongyang would be interesting for a short visit but I'd never set foot in Mogadishu so I guess that's my answer.

Pyongyang for sure. Been there,... havent been to Mogadishu though. As a tourist the city is nice, extra-ordinary safe cause there is no crime (that affects you) and you are guided by state guides all the time. There actually is a lot to see, its clean, and it gives me a feeling of Soviet Union in the 70s. Recently, there are more cars, LED street lights and modern buildings actually.

Exactly my thinking, I have no interest in discussing politics with NK, religion, etc. I think it would be very interesting to visit, almost like a step back to Soviet Bloc architecture.

When I visited Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, I felt like I was in the 70's based off a lot of the older USSR style block buildings etc.

North Korea. I think I'd be ok there as long as I leave my bible at home and not try to steal any political banners
