Russian culture breeds corruption. Russians need to make their citizens more loyal to their country by building a happy healthy atmosphere (Brighter colored buildings, more playgrounds, amusement parks, cartoons, fighting alcoholism and abuse, psychological that will change the Russians perception that corruption is part of life)

less corruption?

Iran doesn't have a vast upper class working to sellout their country as fast as the Russians

That being said, a lot of the depression and cynicism from Russian culture comes from the fact they live in an ice cold region with little sun light and warmth

out of all the decades the 70s were probably the best for Russia, worst for the world, quite a dichotomy there.

Overall the 90's, how would you guys rank these decades from best to worst?

50's (Korean War)
60's (Vietnam War, Biafra War)
70's (Bangladesh Genocide, Cambodian Genocide)
80's (Soviet-Afghan War, Iran-Iraq War)

(Between 1 and 3 million people died in each war/genocide)
