I think this is a good point; sort of a "wow/sq mile" factor.
I agree with the above, and others', inclusion of NZ: it's the size of Colorado yet has hundreds of miles of pristine, near-deserted beaches; active volcanoes; rain forests, glaciers, mountains, mountainous island (Cook Straits), etc. etc. A remarkable, maybe unmatched, variety of landscapes for such a relatively small area.

Slovenia and Poland strike me as very pretty. Green, woodsy; Slovenia has mountains, Poland has gentle hills. Both places strike me as eye candy. And the (mature) Polish men do too.

Canada--I don't know it's not getting more mentions. There is beauty on both coasts and in the Canadian Rockies. Perhaps there's no Grand Canyon, but there is much rugged beauty.
