As for North Korea, I am oddly curious about that country. I'd like to see if it's really as bad as it seems and what the people are like, but I know that if I visit, I'll only be allowed to see the "nice" parts of the country.

I think I am the quintessential Ugly American. Most of what I know about the world I have learned by watching The Amazing Race. I have no interest in ever visiting the continent of Africa, India, the Middle East, the Orient or South America.
