I'm sure it's changed by now but 20 years ago we were in Cancun and decided to rent a jeep and drive south for a little adventure.South of Cancun and Tulum the beaches were littered with garbage for miles and miles.Found out they dumped garbage at sea.It was unbelievable.....not just the beaches but much of the vegetation along the shore was covered with every type of garbage imaginable.
