Spain has always garnered a large tourist population before these attacks grew to be so prevalent. Of course, there was a time; when ETA was very active and that changed tourism, too. Not to mention the terrorist attacks in recent years in Spain...

Everybody I know that goes to Spain tend to go there because its cheap!

You have package tours that count by millions that are the people that you probably know, but you have posh UK visitors that stay at 5 star hotels, frequent north of Spain, royalty included and that owns multi-million houses in the countryside-

I think you'll find that the majority of France and the UK are peaceful places, 30 or so people dying in terror attacks doesn't make the UK a warzone ffs

American tourism in Spain is heavely related with very expensive cruises.
