Could America take over North Korean because of the middle threats and take control of it? Like keep it as a territory or something similar?

Of course. The US is still at war with North Korea (no peace from the Korean War). However, I don't think we want North Korea. I think we're done with 'nation building'. I'm pretty sure we would give it to South Korea, reuniting the country, plus a few years of significant aid.

Could ? Yes. They could fight maybe 20 NK at the same time if they really release "their full power" like they did during the Pacific war.

Will they do it?

No, because dad China and mom Russia wil refuse such a mess near their frontiers specially because of USA... And USA will not take the risk to provoke a nuclear hit in the area (SK, Japan...). If NK doesn't light the fire first, USA won't move IMO

If the US goes in, it's going to have to go in ultra hard and destroy North Koreas capabilities including nuclear weapons and artillery aimed at Seoul very quickly.

I think it's better to give China the permission to take over North Korea.

Yes.

Why not just give a piece of N Korea to Russia and the rest to China?

Both Russia and China will be happy. And N Korea will cease to exist.

Please no. North Korea is devastatingly poor. Too poor to even run electric lights or to have enough to eat. Maybe China will take them over and pay the huge cost of trying to bring them at least into the early part of the 20th century.

You are talking about a country that has the death penalty for eating beef, because they need the cattle to pull their plows. I don't want to have to pay to modernize them.

that wouldn't be in Russia's best interests, currently China has no access to the Sea of Japan, so if China wants to ship goods from Harbin and other Manchurian cities, they have to take the long way down to the yellow sea, or use Russian ports. If China takes over NK then China doesn't need to use Russian ports any longer.
