Hi,
I have traveled a bit but mostly together with someone. Alone I have traveled only within limits of Europe. I am man, live in Europe, Baltic states. Now I have found some reasonable tickets to Miami, December-January but nobody can not go with me. How it would be-is it safe, problemless to fly alone to Miami? How to get from airport to city? Has anybody any experiences of traveling alone? Maybe my question is to banal, but never been to US before. Thanks a lot

A good rule of thumb in the US is that you'll be fine if you stay in the areas where the Starbuckses, Apple stores, or Pottery Barns are. If you venture outside of those areas, anything can happen.

Take a cab from the airport to your hotel.
Miami has a lot of beaches. They are pretty safe if you don't get drunk, walk down alleys. Don't stare and gawk at people.

Yes of course Miami is safe alone or otherwise, don't go into the bad areas of town looking for drugs or ho's and you will be fine.
But the real story is, you are a man - MAN UP!
Does your country provide travel warnings to USA or a particular area in the USA? If you are heading to the beach area, you have nothing to worry about unless you are one of the crazy drunks that will venture out. Its probably the same pre-caution you take in big cities in Europe. Is it the news that has been coming out of the USA recently? Does appear a little crazy, but you will be okay.
