In your opinion which country has the best collection of cities...Italy for example for it's size has a lot to offer when it comes to cities: Milan, Rome, Venice, Florence. Russia on the other hand has St. Petersburg and Moscow, a bit disappointing for a country that size

USA probably has the best collection of cities.

I also find that Canada has a pretty good collection of cities for it's size....

Victoria
Vancouver
Kelowna
Edmonton
Calgary
Saskatoon
Regina
Winnipeg
Thunder Bay
Windsor
London
Hamilton
Toronto
Ottawa
Montreal
Quebec City
Halifax
St. John's

And other gems less well known.

I would probably pick 4 or 5 cities max in Canada. I am talking about pretty impressive cities, being in terms of history, economics, culture or architecture

I am not even sure I'd say that Canada has 4-5 "great" cities, at least not by global standards.

Calgary is pretty good too.

Quebec City is quite stunning.

Now that you've clarified things...have to be large, iconic, etc...

then it's USA ...case closed ....nother country comes close,
even big ones, India ...no ...China...also no, they have some big ugly cities,
but they don't beat the United States.
