Cuba, Venezuela, China, Mexico. My guess is violence has never touched the OP, at least I hope not. Maybe turn off the news, and make the violence go away? Also, if you stay out of ghettos in large, inner cities, you most likely won't encounter any violence. That is where the vast majority occurs. Oh, and stay away from the suicidal.

Let's "imagine" that there's some countries out there where people keep to themselves, and violent crime is very low and not a problem. What does that mean? You can live anywhere, even a cheap house/apartment that accommodates your lower wages. The area may not look amazing, but it's safe.
In the USA, you most likely have to find a decent neighborhood, or you're more susceptible to theft and violent crime. "Good areas" are expensive with few exceptions. Bad areas mean you have to buy security alarms and perhaps home defense. Or medical and property expenses for when the unthinkable happens.
Make sense now?

Having gotten to " know " you over our time together

I say you are driven by money. Not everyone is. In Canada, if you are an average working person, then Canada gives you a lot.

All those stats, surveys and measurements that you despise, whether done by a think tank, a magazine or a reputable world organization, rank Canada very highly.

Why? Not because of how many billionaires there are. Not because someone believes that they can make billions in Canada ( although some do ) but because Canada offers a stable, safe society with good public schools, cheaper post secondary education ( than the US ), less income inequality, good social programs, labour laws that mandate holidays, maternity/paternity leave, etc, Universal Healthcare, saner gun laws and a vast land full of variety.

Last year the law enforcement in the US killed 1163 people. That's only 200 less than ALL murders in the UK, Italy and Spain combined.

Sorry man, not in your league.
Game, set, and match.

But I don't know much about Canada or have a desire to live there. You have to pay extra for winter heating I'd imagine.
Traveling is also much worse. Canadian airlines are very expensive, bus travel is not really feasible because of the size of the country, far away from both Latin America and Europe...it's rough. In the US you might be a $200 flight away from Mexico or Dominican Republic, in Canada that is much worse

This is a skittles bag of random countries all with completely different problems. Not sure what you are trying to prove. Cuba and China both have little violent crime but obviously have problems with authoritarian governments. Mexico is 50% a rogue narcostate. Venezuela is an economic experiment gone horribly wrong. Btw, since you bring up Mexico, any country has good and bad parts. You can stay away from the bad parts in the US, and you can similarly do so in Mexico. Just like not all of the US is Detroit or St. Louis, not all of Mexico is Tijuana or Ciudad Juarez

I would actually say the opposite, Canada has all the minuses of the US, with none of the benefits of Western Europe. Canada could've been something special, like France or Germany 2.0, but they decided to suburbanize their cities, rely on cars for transportation, and make inter-city travel expensive and prohibitive

i think what you need to do is search out places that are not violent divided and not seek greener pastures elsewhere simply because the flag is different. The advantage to remaining in the US (assuming you are American) is that the divisions and violence will be overt to your eyes. If you move overseas, it will take time to learn the nuances of that particular culture and the various religious and ethnic issues that plague humanity as a whole.

A final point: your budget and class have nontrivial roles to play. If loaded beyond belief, money and social class is what divides, albeit without overt violence. If you have more modest means, good luck. You may find yourself the target just by having been an American.
