Citizens born in Purto Rico are legally defined as natural born citizens and are therefore eligible to be elected President.

You don`t need a passport to enter Puerto Rico.

it's true, but tokyo is very far from NYC when it's about politics or cultural influence.

Those japanese are so high tech/advanced they made an artificial island to build an AirPort outside Osaka (inagurated in 1994). The chinese wall and that monster are the only two man-made structures that can be seen from the space.
that's a myth, actually there are tons of man-made building whose can be seen from space.

I tend to agree with this, but it's hard to say because Tokyo is very much the center of Japan's political power (which is a populous and wealthy nation) while New York City really isn't the governing entity of anything at all (the UN is not a governing entity). As for culture, Tokyo seems to do alright with itself. As far as media production goes, anime, manga, and video games (this last one especially) were formerly niche markets in much of the rest of the world but they're pretty much fully grown now. Trends also seem to occasionally pop out of Tokyo (and Japan in general) and make their way abroad. Besides, what would the world be like without 2chan making 4chan making the interwebz?

i would say washington is the most powerful in terms of the man who lives there, the president of the united states, who is the most powerful man in the world, but as a city itself i would say london, mainly because its the financial centre of the world, and a lot of the worlds ''elite'' stay there

I would say London, New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Shanghai are equally all some of the most powerful cities in the world.

Plus, outside these cities there are also plenty of other powerful cities(Some examples: Paris, Chicago, Washington DC, Seoul, Singapore, Toronto, San Francisco, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Beijing, Berlin. )

Also, technically many different places in the world matter and are still important in their own ways, including major city and non major city related places so this is not as one dimensional as it seems.

No, there are plenty more powerful global trade relationship cities than that as well as many more powerful politics, strategic location, and developing world cities.

Also, Singapore is not developing world. It is one of the most wealthiest in the world as a city and as a country.

Shanghai acts like a city that is as wealthy/powerful as one would be in a 1st world country but is in a 2nd world/rapidly industrialized country instead.
