The Jiuzhaigou Lakes are missing, I love the clear blue water combined with temperate forest
Out of the list I really like the Plitvice Lakes, especially this photo (if it's not faked)
Fodor missed a few very beautiful lakes :
Lake Balaton, Hungary
Bodensee, Germany
Lake Vättern Sweden
Lake Khanka (border China-Russia)
Lake Balkach (Kazakhstan)
Lake Turkana (Ethiopia)
Traunsee: Probably my favourite lake in Austria. I love the towns of Gmunden and Ebensee, the castle in the middle of the lake and the mountain Traunstein. Almsee: Surreal setting. Breathtaking year-round. Hallstätter See: Because of the towns of Hallstatt and Bad Goisern, where I have family Beautiful.
Besides that, I really like Lake Bled in Slovenia.
