Of Finnish brands I like Supercell, Patria and KONE. (Kone means 'machine'.) Patria obviously makes weapons.

I think Adidas the short for its founder's name. Several prominent German brands like Aldi, Haribo or Adidas are (at least partly) named after their founder's names.

Yes, Adi Dassler is the founder of Adidas.
