I'll pick this up. Sydney, because it is supposed to be similar to Southern California (I'm from San Diego). I liked the idea of Sydney so much, that when I changed my name in my 30's, I changed my middle name to Sydney and now use that name more than Tashina (which is a name I made up in my teens).

Marrakesh, Morocco or Ibiza?

When I remember my own relatively recent travel journeys, I am endlessly entertaining myself with how I went to Fes-Meknes-Ifrane region first, then to Casablanca Morocco. Without any advancing moves through Marrakesh right after. Comparing these similarities and differences between these three Moroccan imperials is magnificent to fully understand at a cultural anthropological perspective. Spain Iberian Peninsula Of Western Europe, and Middle East Maghreb North Africa Morocco are the complete polar opposite of each other. Rational backup of reasons. Now I select Ibiza since that is opportune for Mediterranean summer beach party metaphorical roller coaster ride. Although, if I learn further information I might change my own mind and opt out for Marrakesh. Rest of the year, I would pick Casablanca over Ibiza. Already tons of unique vibrant nightlife. Wow, what spontaneous unknown ecstasy.

Batumi, because it seems like it would have a deeper richer history and more things to see.

Sydney or Tokyo

Sydney or Tokyo
Sydney as I prefer the climate and love the environment, though Tokyo is a strong contender.

Sydney vs Melbourne

Sydney. I would have selected Melbourne, but there is someone I hate who moved back to Melbourne from London. Just the thought of bumping into him makes me want to vomit.

Copenhagen or Amsterdam?

Amsterdam. Seems like a more fun place.

Santiago, Chile or Ankara, Turkey?

Odessa, Ukraine, or Phuket, Thailand
I like New York as well, but the stench in the summer is truly appalling.

Santiago, Spanish language, mountains, closer to water, better government, plus I think Latin America will experience a lot of exciting growth in the future. One downer of Santiago would be the pollution... not sure where Ankara lands in this realm.

Kunming, China or Daegu, South Korea

Never heard any of those cities, but I pick Daegu because of South Korea
