Glasgow. Scotland is a fascinating place. Nova Scotia has appeal too, but it's not the same draw.

Kingston, Jamaica or Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago?

Port of Spain, smaller population and a little less murder might live a few more years

Tough one. Moscow is under an authoritarian government and Indonesia as a muslim country is quite authoritarian also. Jakarta is also sinking. I think I would pick Jakarta though only just.

Tough one as of today's date: US is now #1 in terms of covid cases and Detroit was a total collapse even before that, meanwhile we're talking Brazil here: the only country that makes the Mexican mafia seem like bunch of kids in park. But still: Belo Horizonte.

Busan. Never been to either and would love to visit both, but undoubtedly we would be more comfortable in S Korea and I have always thought Busan would be a great place to live.

Montreal! I love Montreal and I've always wanted to live in a French-speaking environment for a bit. Melbourne was pretty interesting and had its charms, but I found that I liked Sydney more. Montreal's also nice in that it's close-ish to friends living in NYC.

Interesting, never heard about St. Pirerre & Miquelon.

However, I would have to go with Prince Edward Island.

Colombia. I would feel much more at home in the Western hemisphere in a Hispanic culture than I would the East.

Cayenne, French Guiana or Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire?

Cayenne FG, I don't think I would ever want to live in Africa (with maybe a few exceptions).
