The Where Would You Rather Live? Game is one of my favorite threads on the City vs. City forum.
However, that one only covers US Cities. I am creating the World Edition in order to include cities from all around the world into the game.

Here's how it works:
One person posts two cities(label the countries as well). The next person then answers that question, with an explanation as to why, then they post the next question.

For example:
Person posts: London, England or Paris, France?
Next person: Even though Paris is great, I'll go with London because I don't have to learn a new language in order to live there. Chicago, United States or Toronto, Canada?

So let's start!
New York City, United States or London, England?

New York. Every American ought to spend 6 months living in NYC, in order to understand the psychology, sociology and language of the top movies and tv series. Without that background, the shows seem to be taking place in a foreign country.

Odessa, Ukraine, or Phuket, Thailand

I've only been to Phuket. It's a decent holiday destination if all you're looking for is to spend some time at the beach or want to mingle with like minded fellows, but ends up being pretty shallow.

Is it cheating if I go next?

Bangkok, Thailand or Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Bangkok - Kuala Lumpur is probably just a bit too Islamic for my tastes.

Next: Motueka or Oslo?

Motueka because of better climate and I don't have to learn a new language.

Next: Vancouver vs. Singapore

Vancouver I've been there and like it, pretty harbor, I like Stanley park and I like Canadians as well. I know this will sound bad but I have no interest in living in Asia not attracted to Asian women and don't like living packed like a sardine.

Next: San Francisco vs. Boston

San Francisco due to the culture, the warmer climate, and the bay as well as the beach.

Next: Auckland (NZ) vs. Brisbane (Aust)

Brisbane. Australians are a bit more amusing to have around, more of a slack lifestyle. . Otherwise, not much to pick from there.

Medellin, Colombia, or Seville, Spain.

Seville because of being more developed and better architecture.

Reykjavik vs. Punta Arenas
