What is the most recognizable man-made structure in the world that was built in modern times?

Key definitions:
Recognizable = most people will know what it is when they see a picture of it.
Modern times = built during the memory of people still alive.
Man-made = not a naturally occurring phenomenon

My vote is the St. Louis arch.

I don’t think most people know what the St Louis arch is.

I’ll second the Sydney Opera House.

I was also going to say Cristo Redentor of Rio de Janeiro but its debatable if 87 years is living memory considering life expectancy of the most advanced countries is 83 years.

Can we consider structures that no longer exist?

I would say the Twin Towers from the World Trade Center, it fits perfectly in all the definitions.

Considering the existing structures, maybe the most recognizable is the Louvre Pyramid or the already mentioned Opera House.
