I love sand dunes by the beach because I live and I was raised in a part of the world that has lots of it (state of Ceará, Brazil), and I started this thread because I want to know which parts of the world are like here...
Those dunes in the Canary islands are amazing, I surely want to visit some day...
The north coast of Brazil is full of beaches with sand dunes, in this area between Sao Luis and Natal:
It starts in the Lençois Maranhenses national park, just east of Sao Luis, and goes until Genipabu, that is just north of Natal.
It's more than 1000 kilometers of coast with one sand dune beach after another. Almost every beach has sand dunes in this coast.
The state of Ceara is right in the middle of it, and being raised in Ceara I can't prevent myself from loving beaches with sand dunes. Dune buggies and sandboarding were always around for my whole life
Their largest sand Islands in the world are on the southern Queensland Coast. I think its also one of the few places in the world Rain forest is actually able to grow on sand.
This is Moreton Island about 10 miles out from the Main Port of Brisbane.
