Where at? And in which ways? Let's consider what we are talking about here:

1. A national capital of the 22nd largest economy in the world, with 26th per capita in wealth (very prosperous and stable).
2. The population of said area is 952K city and 2.3M Metro, with a population density of 13K PSQM, Metro 920 PSQM.
3. Generally ranks among world's most livable cities, with 40% public green space, and safest (1/100K Homicide Rate).
4. Is a cultural powerhouse, with modern gems such as the Metro/shopping areas, and old palaces/museums/ships,etc.
5. Has a trending cold 4 season climate, relatively diverse (15% foreign born), and is located within seaside archipelago.

With that, it's most similar city is probably of course going to come from those surrounding it. I think it shares pretty significant similarities with Copenhagen especially, though Copenhagen, perhaps due to being closer to the sea and having many travelers coming to/leaving from there, feels a bit more cosmopolitan overall. Still though, if I were to say a place that is "most similar"? That would have to be it. Helsinki and Oslo though less so, would be up there in that regard, overall. How about elsewhere in Europe? Well on different levels, I think Amsterdam and Zurich come to mind especially, in some ways it's more bustling than Zurich, maybe less so than Amsterdam. On the Mediterranean? Lisbon is perhaps most similar when thinking about cultural qualities (national capital, etc., but Seville, Spain I think comes to mind most in terms of some layout parallels. In the Middle East... maybe Antalya, Turkey? I don't know. Not exactly alike but maybe comes closest. In the Asia Pacific region? Fukuoka, Japan and Suzhou, China come to mind though for different reasons. Maybe somewhere like Hoi An, too. Auckland or Perth might call it to mind some though again, the further we get away from Stockholm the more different it's gonna be. In the northern part of America? Again, almost anywhere I say is going to be a reach. But, look to Minneapolis/Saint Paul, Seattle, Montreal, Quebec City, Washington DC (closest, I think in the Americas) as those that might be somewhat more similar. In Latin America, I think it gets difficult to, but Havana (parts), Cartagena and Guayaquil can some, if you use your imagination a bit.

Hope this helps!
