I bath 5 times a week or so. The climate of Bogota allows it.
Yes, I too think that eating with gloves is way OTT but it happens in Colombia. And yes, I know you Cundi-Boyacenses from the Andean plateau are a little stinkier than the rest but in France bathing once a week is a luxury, although apparently its changing but you wouldn't think it with the smells you have to put up with when in Paris or Brussels.

Brazil and Colombia almost always top the shower/bathing studies or polls globally https://www.good.is/articles/bathing-poll-world

There are quite a few safe, wealthy, international cities listed.

I can't decide my favorite, but my top choices would be:
Rio
Panama City
San Juan, PR
Medellin

Yes, I'm biased. I love Latin America.

Medellin is more a sub-tropical climate than a tropical one. In Colombia tropical cities would be more the likes of Cali, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Cúcuta, Santa Marta, Monteria, Villavicencio, Valledupar, Neiva.

Even Bucaramanga is just about border-line tropical (pineapples can grow there). Every couple of 100 metres specialises in a different crop dry vs wet areas is also a big influencer.
