How much is gas/petrol in your city/state/country?
Here in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the gas station by my house is charging $3.29 a gallon.
For the US, that's expensive, but it's still not as expensive as when I lived in Europe years ago. I remember when it was that exact price per litre!
EDITED TO ADD: I live in downtown Minneapolis.

I paid $3.09 in Kansas City, MO today. If you go to the KS side it is normally around 15 to 20 cents more expensive due to taxes.

In Hong Kong, about US$7.50-$8 per gallon. It costs about $100 to get a full tank in my car.

All over the UK it is US$8.00 to US$8.50 a gallon.
In Australia it is the equivalent of US$4.20 per gallon

Gas in the US is fairly cheap.
In Croatia today gas (Eurosuper 95 type) costs 1,83 $ per liter / 6,92 $ per gallon (if I converted kunas to dollars / liters to gallons correctly).
Luckily the springtime is here; I more often use my bicycle to go to work than the car.
