So many people keep saying and are hoping that America is on its way to collapse. They say that Trump is going to make it happen and it is going to happen soon......... but what happens afterwards though?

Will the US break apart into smaller independent states or will it still retain itself? What about the people living there, will they leave and head over to Mexico or will they stay and rebuild? Will they finally be able to relax?

What about America's military armament, would the US sell them or would the world take them and throw them into the sea?

What happens to Canada? Will Canada let refugees in, will it help America rebuild or will it build a wall and be happy that America is no more?

Will El Mexico take back its lands and turn Los Angeles into a paradise?

What happens to Manhattan?

Where's YouTube going to go?

What about outside North America?

Would the world cheer, rejoice and would this make people wet?

Since so many people are angry with the US, will this right the things that people are angry over or will they still be angry?

What happens to Communist rebels?

Will Latin Americans install their own puppet regimes on US soil?

Will the Middle East finally be at peace? Will North Korea be at peace with the South? Will Syria start to heal? Will Russia still be angry? Will Iran finally be happy?

What about Pakistan and India, will they finally be friends now?

Since poor countries blame rich countries for why they are poor, will poor countries finally be rich countries?

Will China be the new supa powah in the ward?

Will China be the new Hollywood or will it be Bollywood or would it be those boring European movies?

Is China making another Asura? Who's going to make Frozen 3? Will we get a Spider-Man based in Hong Kong or a Batman based in Gotamu which is a fictional Indian city?

Will the EU finally be the new supa powah in the ward?

Will Europeans finally be happy?

What about the Philippines, would they take revenge and colonize America?

Would Japan purchase 2 Atomic bombs and target military installations?

Would the world invade America and divide its lands and give Somalia, New York State?

Will the world enter into a new era of enlightenment where humanity will discard its flaws and aspire for the stars?

Will it be China's or the EU's turn to hear the curses and cries of the ward?

Or would the world be noble, let bygones be bygones, help Americans not as Americans but as human beings and help America rebuild?

And finally, would the world be a better place after America is no more?

People won't admit it. But I think the world would be worse off.

OP, you need to stop listening to your Sixties Retread professor and start using your own brain.

Short answer: no. Longer answer: For all the whining and moaning that too many spoiled brats do, America is absolutely indispensable to maintaining peace and prosperity in the world. Just to give one single example, who do you think keeps the sea lanes open for trade? Yep, the United States; or, more specifically, the implicit threat of force against anyone who would interfere with the free movement of global trade, by the United States Navy.

I'm assuming that you're the same poster who kept putting up "Why doesn't the rest of the world overthrow America" screeds. You'll live a happier life if you stop this insane America envy (disguised as America hatred) of yours and just accept that you're better off with us than without us.

Who are all these people saying America is on it's way to collapse?

Hoping it gets a lesson in humility is a long way from hoping it collapses.

Hoping it returns to the majority of us believing it's decisions are based upon some moral and ethical reasons instead of being dictated by corporate interests, perhaps.

Hoping it thrives with renewed vigor aimed towards it's middle class welfare and prosperity, perhaps.

Hoping it regains the civility it was once renowned for, perhaps.

Hoping for it's collapse would consign a major influence that has stood for stability and some form of democratic bulwark against the more authoritarian regimes simply taking over to an ineffective role.

Like it or not; the only country with the over-all strength to stymie other militaristic nations from running amok is the U.S.

We would be much worse off as a planet if there was no USA. The USA has done a lot of good in the world despite its major flaws. I would like to see the USA reform itself for the better but would not like to see its collapse. A thriving USA is a good thing I think.

The USA is not going to collapse. It is no more likely than the moon crashing. How would it collapse?
Truth is other people can find certain aspects of American culture irritating at times, as I imagine many Americans do too. But being irritated with Facebook, or fast food, or whatever, is hardly wishing an entire nation collapse.

I'm under the impression that we'll all be worse off in that case. Many countries trade products and have cash flowing between, so I really don't think China or anyone else would be doing anywhere near ok if the USA fell

Agreed.
I'm not sure why the OP thinks that, even in such a scenario of the US 'collapsing' and splitting up into independent states, other countries would be able to simply invade, take back or install puppet governments on these new sovereign states.
