It makes the US an outlier. Only ten states and a couple of countries are that far out of the mainstream. Every other country gives their adolescents credit for growing up, but not American nannies.. No country and only ten states agree with you about criminalizing it in under 18, so maybe it's time for you to reconsider your view, unless you think only Americans are too retarded and immature at that age to consent to intimate behavior out of sight of the police.

I have no plans on reconsidering my view I've raised two daughters like I said I'm okay with 15-17 year olds consenting to experimenting with someone within two years of their age I'm not okay with giving grown men the green light to chase after 14 year olds. I've been in my home country with my girls where the age of consent is 14 and I watched first hand how some of the guys thought it was okay to look at them like grown men do adult women do in the USA. Let's just say it didn't go over well I nipped it and had no further incidents it's a small town and they word got out I had zero tolerance for disrespect. I know that some men are attracted to 14-16 year old that is their primary attraction but I don't give a **** about them and prefer an age of consent of 18 above 14 any day of the week.

Ten American states have retained as a prosecutable felony for any adult to have sex with any consenting 17-year-old. In order to maximize the number of incarcerations, plea-bargained without a trial, in for-profit prisoms listed on the stock exchange. Third world.. Feel welcome, as an expert, to defend that posture.

If any 17-year-old lacks the maturity to make that judgment herself, that's on her parents.

China I would say is approaching first world at this point. Certainly Shanghai and surrounding cities are. In fact in my opinion they surpass the U.S. in that regard.
I woulnd't call Vietnam third world. This becomes very apparent when you cross the border from Cambodia (which is certainly third world) into Vietnam.

Is Brazil still considered third world? I thought it had moved up.

Their human rights issues hold it back IMO.

What is your point in advocating for grown ass men to **** high school aged teenagers? I haven't claimed to be an expert but so far your posts have been straight up assenine, why not drop it down to 13? I'm guessing you feel they have it better where you're living in the PI don't even go there we used to sponsor a child from that country from ages 10-14 then we go a letter when she turned 14 she was married off to a 35 year old widower with kids. Nah we got this one right their system is ****ed up. I'll take an age of consent id 18 any day over 12-14 or how about no age of consent like some countries for example Yemen where they sell off 8-10 year olds to get molested, raped and beaten in exchanged for a fee. What I find peculiar is grown men advocating for the legal right to **** 14 year olds.

I did not advocate that. Argue against what I said, not what you wish I had said.

What is your point your talking in circles? I made it clear that I'm for de criminalizing 15-17 year olds engaging in sexual activity as long as their partner is no more than two years older than them. A 15 year old and 17 year old is fine for example and a 17 year old is fine with a 19 year old. What are you proposing that it should be legal for a 50 year old loser to have sex with 14-16 year olds? If so I suggest you rethink that, because you will start finding some decapitated 50 year olds that start harrassing 14 year olds.
