Istanbul*

Northern* America:

Oceania:

I had some doubts on some of these, but generally speaking, I feel like this establishes some important world centers in many industries, and the influences each of these places have.

The ones that I bolded and underlined are my response to Davy-040 on 15 most important cities. I consider all elements. Capital-National Ratio, GDP, Cultural and Historical Output/Influence, Transportation/Location, Governmental/International Diplomatic Organizations etc. and sort of amalgamate those elements. I think further narrowing it down to a Top 5 or a number one would be too difficult at this point, as it becomes too much based in "what factors are considering here"

That was one I thought quite a lot about. The reason I went with Mexico City was that even though São Paulo has a higher GDP overall, I’m guessing Mexico City is a more important cog/pct. in the overall Mexican/North Latin American economy (Out of the Big 7 of LatAm, 6 are in South America). Also, Mexico City also functions as the cultural/political/educational/etc. node for its region, where Brazil has its functions more divided up amongst Brasilia and Rio as well.
