When you say white sauce, do you mean a cheese sauce or the white sauce they use to make creamed spinach???
The sauce they use in all their pizzas at their restaurants. 1/3 cup of cheese which goes on pizzas any way. Then the largest ingredient is milk.
We wanted an old fashioned, traditional, common tomato pizza sauce and a phone call to them and they say only white which they called in the menu "majorio."

I'm skeptical there is a Pizza Hut on this planet that doesn't offer pizza with tomato sauce.
For Pizza Hut I am seeing cheesy mayo background (sauce?) as well as pesto "background" and 3 cheese on a tomato sauce so they must be offering choices and if you do not ask you may get cheesy mayo sauce.
on the side topic of eating at American chains/fast food overseas, I do it 100% of the time I travel. I rarely if ever go into a McDonald's in the U.S. but I've been to McDonalds all over Europe, Tokyo, Bangkok and Moscow. It's a cultural experience and McDonalds and most other American chains have localized menu items that you can't get in the U.S. which are fun to try. But I've also had Mexican food in Thailand, Chinese food in Paris, Swedish food in Russia, Indian food in London etc. I always try the local specialities but I like a variety especially if I'm in a place for a week or more. Cuisine is pretty global everywhere you go now so the best food options aren't always the traditional ones. I like to eat what the locals are eating and they are usually eating a variety of things

I wouldn't pick Pizza Hut, but other chains often have completely different food and goofy international spins on common things. Plus they use way better ingredients overseas.
I wouldn't do it more than once a trip, but it is fun.
After taste testing by buying two types of pizza the results were:The Americana pizza had thick crust and white sauce.
The Italiano pizza was thin crust with tomato sauce.
