Australia and NZ should be a continent in the North Atlantic. In the middle of the way between Britain and USA. And renamed to "Atlantis". And Mexico should move southwards, merging with Central America and bordering Colombia.

As for South Africa, it's a "sui generis" country, more or less what would be Brazil if the Dutchmen were not expelled from the Northeast and if Britain settled it instead of Portugal.

Agreed, Uruguay would be an island between Spain and Italy, just north of Africa. Something like to the south of Sardinia. Unlike Argentina, Uruguay has decent beaches also so that fits well there.

Ideally New Zealand would be located between Scotland and Norway. This would make most of Europe warmer.
