NYC - i grew up in the metro area and had the privilege of living in lower Manhattan for 6 yrs. i can see how people have a love/hate relationship with it. its too congested, traffic is horrible, housing is expensive, dirty, too many egos, etc..etc..... but i honestly think if everyone had the ability to live there w/o breaking the bank, it would be quite an enjoyable experience.
and yeah, yeah, i know, Manhattan aint cool anymore...Brooklyn/Queens is were its at yada yada

Kiev, Ukraine - History, culture, friendly people, by far the most beautiful women both as a percent of population and just as a "mother lode", many excellent restaurants, interesting stores, first class opera and ballet, Kiev Dynamo Soccer, a sort of weekend street party on Krashatok street (main downtown street) every summer weekend, Voronin suit shop where an athletically-built guy (42 chest, 32 waist) can buy a suit that actually fits without re-cutting, compare quality at $400, but costs $200. Decent public transport, Metro not quite like Moscow but what is? Obalon beer. The best damn bread you ever tasted, in incredible variety, very inexpensive. Complete lack of the American "anti-intellectual" mind set - the smarter you are, the more you know, the better they like you.
It helps if you can speak Russian of course. Plus points for Ukrainian instead of Russian

Right now, Tokyo. That city is awesome! From the futuristic architecture and city scape, to the variety of unique neighborhoods full of vibrant cultures, that city never seizes to impress me.

something about Sydney intimidates me. Maybe because its a world class version of my home town of San Diego, not quite sure. But for whatever reason, its always been in my top list of favorite cities.
Manhattan is the best place I've ever physically been to. I still pop boners over thinking about my 5 short days of being there.

Barcelona without a doubt. Everyone asks why, but it's just everything. Been to 27 countries on 3 continents, but that city just stole my heart.
