Default I'm a Nebraskan, ask me about Nebraska

i've noticed many of these threads and I decided to create my own except not about the United States, but my
state specifically Nebraska. I live in its largest city Omaha and know a lot about my state. Do any of you want to find out things about it?

Location of Nebraska in the U.S.

A population density map of it. As you can tell, its not the densest place. I live in the dense area on the eastern edge.

Finally, an aerial view of my city.

Thats a bit stereotypical, Omaha, my cities name, is a growing city of 430,000 people, metro of 830,000, we have a very strong economy and we are expanding pretty fast for a city of our size. Our suburbs actually expand well beyond that photo, we just have a lot of trees.

You miss the point....there are no "I'm American, ask me about the USA" threads either. Most topics discussing the US or UK in here do so as a comparison with other countries in the world. With their own forums, it would be redundant to go beyond that.

It doesn't make much difference to me personally, but I just think a Nebraska thread in here is silly & I felt like saying it.

Are all Nebraska QB's raised as option QB's before they leave the womb?
No
Does anyone in Nebraska actually know how the pass the football?
Yes, American Football is the most popular sport
Are there any good pocket passers from nebraska?
I dont know
What other sports are you guys awesome at?
Soccer, Volleyball, and Basketvall
do trees occur naturally in nebraska or are they imported?
It really depends. By the Missouri river, trees are natural, but otherwise, most of the trees in the state were planted a long time ago
If so which parts of nebraska is prairie, and which part are forested?
by the Missouri is forested and pretty much west of that is prairie
What kind of natural fauna are in nebraska?
Pine Trees, Oak Trees lots of grasses, flowers, and some other species of trees.

What is your economy like? What kinds of jobs are out there?
Well Lincoln and Omaha have diverse and strong economies. Omaha has a stronger one and has 5 of the 500 richest companies in the United States. Downtown is changing really quickly right now and our skyline will see major changes in the near future. Lincoln's economy is diverse and is based a lot on government jobs because its the capital. Also it has UNL, one of the fastest growing universities in the state. Farming has become a more powerful industry because of ethanol and increased food demand.
