I'll second Vietnamese and Thai people. Most of the ones I've encountered are very decent, kind, hard-working people.

Mostly, though, people are people. Don't want to sound pollyanna, but there are good ones and not-do-good ones everywhere.

You realize you just proved his/her point, right?

As someone who grew up in Canada and has lived in the US for many years, I find Americans to be very likeable, overall. Individually and collectively. They are some of the warmest, generous people in the world, imo.

Now, politically speaking? That's a whole other matter. When it comes to politics, Americans collectively are batsh*t crazy.
