Do you think India could become the next potential superpower.

Never. Their culture and geography will not allow it.

Probably not. Local corruption is too much of a problem there.

And seems to be perfectly acceptable by local society.

NEXT potential superpower? No.
It will be most likely China.

India and China used to be the 2 wealthiest countries in the world for many centuries. Power seems to shift between the Occident and the Orient over time.

So, there is precedent for this.

Maybe a decade or two ago I would have made that prediction about India. But not anymore. They just can't seem to get there internal house in order in terms of socio-economics - poverty, pollution, homeless, illiteracy, health issues, and economic inequality. I am afraid they will never get over that hurdle due to overpopulation.

I like India but I think no. Let's hope it won't be China, that will be worse than the US era. I like Chinese people but their politics is totally wrong. I hope Brasil or Mexico become the global superpower so we can all learn PT or ES. Hindi and Chinese are too difficult for most people in the world. Or maybe Angola + Mozambique, why not.

I'm hoping Indonesia will become the next superpower as well as India but I keep hearing about China's ability to become a superpower.
