This has nothing to do with land. If modern day Israel was occupied by another Arab group, or European group, or Inuit people, or ancient Mayan civilization the Palestinian people would just suck it up and life would go on. It's because JEWS have staked claim in the land that they get riled up. And unfortunately for the Palestinians, Jewish people are very intelligent and with the technology and resources they now have, Israel has the utmost capability to handle their s**t.

You have a point. I don't see much complaint regarding Jordan currently occupying Palestinian land. Egypt closed the border between Gaza and Sinai, preventing Gaza residents trying to escape the conflict. No complaint that I hear from that either.

There are 22 Arab speaking nations (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arab_League ), many of them large and underpopulated (by Asian and European standards). They could have taken in the entire Palestinian population years ago if they wanted to, beginning with those in refugee camps but they chose not too. Instead, like the Gulf Arab states, they actually encourage Europeans and Asians to move, work and vacation there.

The Palestinians are ignored except when needed to steer the anger of the Arab publics away from their own domestic governments and toward Israel instead. Israel serves as a convenient whipping boy for the Arab governments.

Iran does the same thing except that Israel serves a dual role for Iran. First, like the Arab governments, its a good way to focus public anger away from Iran and toward the outside, Israel. But second, Iran is not Arab, its Persian. And it is also mostly Shia religion while most Arabs are Sunnis. So Israel serves as a good way to focus Arab anger and attention away from Iran and instead toward Israel.

The Palestinian Arabs were uprooted in 1948 because the governments of the neighboring Arab countries suggested to these inhabitants to get out of the way of the fighting with the assumption that Israel would be destroyed. When this didn't happen, these people became refugees as Israel wasn't going to accept enemy Arabs back into Israel. At that time the neighboring Arab countries should have offered them new lives and not kept them and their descendants refugees all this time.

I have several Christian friends and family that say the bible commands them to support Israel.

I think the creation of Israel was a mistake but now they've been there for 75 years and developed a great nation. They do have a right to defend themselves against enemies that want to destroy them.

Not sure what can be done to make peace but I'm open to anything that would work. I wouldn't mind if we invited all the Jews in Israel to come to the USA, it's obvious that they're capable of developing a great society. I would not invite the Palestinians, even the other Arab nations don't want them and after this latest stunt, it's obvious why.

Default Condemnation of both Israel and Hamas finally.

Quote:
. GENEVA (12 October 2023) – UN independent experts* today unequivocally condemned targeted and deadly violence directed at civilians in Israel and violent and indiscriminate attacks against Palestinian civilians in Gaza and a further tightening of the unlawful blockade, which will have devastating impacts on the whole civilian population.

“We strongly condemn the horrific crimes committed by Hamas, the deliberate and widespread killing and hostage-taking of innocent civilians, including older persons and children. These actions constitute heinous violations of international law and international crimes, for which there must be urgent accountability,” the experts said.

We also strongly condemn Israel’s indiscriminate military attacks against the already exhausted Palestinian people of Gaza, comprising over 2.3 million people, nearly half of whom are children. They have lived under unlawful blockade for 16 years, and already gone through five major brutal wars, which remain unaccounted for,”they said.

“This amounts to collective punishment,” the UN experts said. “There is no justification for violence that indiscriminately targets innocent civilians, whether by Hamas or Israeli forces. This is absolutely prohibited under international law and amounts to a war crime.”

The experts also expressed concern about reports that journalists and media workers reporting on the conflict had been targeted, with seven Palestinian journalists and media workers reportedly killed in Israeli airstrikes.

Nice story.

This leader of Hamas is a real tool. He advocates for Palestinians to stay in Gaza while he is presumably safe in some 'unknown location' I really do hope the Israeli's deal some justice to him for everyone's sake.
