How does the Israel troops get into that Hamas`s HQ thats a tunnel that is a 100 ft below the shifa hospital ? They can `nt send in one at a time that will be shot. What can they do to send a whole troop in ? The hostages could be in there. and If Hamas `s hostages likely being held in underground tunnels,? what if Hamas uses the hostages as human shields ?

to add. what would Israel do if the hostages are in that tunnel that is a 100 ft below? . Putting in Water or gas in would killed them all? What about putting Chloroform in putting them all asleep ?
There's no good options, but you can't let hostage holding stop a war.

It's difficult but remember the IDF are pros at this, their special forces are well trained for these types of scenarios and have done stuff like this before. Read on the hostage rescue in Entebbe by IDF. That was the 70's but an equally difficult situation.
Tunnels really, are no more difficult then any hardened site. You move fast, you use pyrothecnics like flash bangs and smoke, you kill anyone armed with extreme prejudice. If done right, Hamas kidnappers will be dead before they know what hit them. The real difficulty is that the hostages are likely in different sites and once one site is hit they might start killing the hostages. You also have to know exactly where they are first.

The level of violence on September 11, 2001 and October 7, 2023 was totally out of control

It's pretty shameful that you are blindly supporting Hamas and al Qaeda in slaughters.

Is that your thanks for the Normandy invasion? Europeans would not fight for themselves. We liberated you and that's your thanks.

A country has every right to defend itself, but not with this amount of destructive and deadly violence against civilians.
Are they supposed to gently defend themselves and die in the process?

All this has been discussed already in this thread:
Cease fire - It has been attempted before in past Israeli-Palestine conflicts. The war in Lebanon in 2006 is a perfect example of why they don't work. UN brokered cease fire with useless UN peacekeepers (probably Dutch). Israel follows it, the terrorists do not, and death and destruction continue. With a cease-fire you are voting for the status quo of continuing with terrorism.

Civilian casualties - This is a war in an urban environment where the enemy uses it's own civilians as a shield. The civilians casualties are terrible but only one side is to blame, the one that started a war - Hamas. Your anger should be directed at them.

If you are from The Netherlands you will see that your own country wisely abstained (basically voted against) a UN cease fire. Maybe your country can use the billions of dollars of money saved in not holding up to the NATO commitment of support by sending aid to Palestinian humanitarian causes, like the US does. Then again, maybe not, all that money seems to be stolen by Hamas or Hezbollah.

The Dutch man, LOL! OK I am going to go a bit off-topic: I used to travel there so often for work, I practically lived there. I like them but they live in some tulip fantasy world. Forget about WWII talk, they were practically an ally of Nazi Germany, all part of the Aryan fatherland master race you know. The Netherlands had more Jews killed in the holocaust as a percentage of population than any other country, more homegrown SS division created than any other country other than Germany. But what really gets me is there military today. There are African countries that have larger and better equipped armies. Literally, Ghana can send a flotilla up to there country and conquer it in a day if not for NATO.

Its sad why Palestinians are so mad when they and their child have a building fall on them , instead of seeing your baby beheaded and burn up in a oven and your feeling when your head is beheaded to Israel won`t let that happen again
