The member you are responding to is gone it seems. He didn't have much to contribute except for "Viva Palestina". I am not sure if he knew himself what that meant or just wanted to say some glib comment, but Viva Palestina is a British based organization that has been accused of directly supporting the Hamas terrorist organization (not Palestine, but Hamas).
That may explain why he is no longer with us.

Well, Professor, I don't have the depth of your knowledge, but I do think Israel should come to terms with Hamas, and if that proves to be impossible, Israel should inflict Hamasism onto Hamas, "From the river to the sea" can go both ways.

Trust me they have. Hamas will not commit to sharing the Holy Land.

There is no coming to terms with an organization that has written into it's constitution for the extermination of Jews. For the good of both Palestine and Israel, for the good of the world, Hamas needs to die.
Kill them all.

For foreign policy academia, everything can be negotiated. Even the death of a great Civilization, if it will make the majority of diplomats happy.

Well that's the diplomats job, to maintain peace. But diplomacy has failed that region of the world for 70 years, longer really. And yet they seems to always try again what has failed in the past - focusing on historical grievances, land occupation, "a two state solution", giving Palestine and Gaza economic aid (which simply goes into the pockets of terrorists groups). What do they say about insanity? Trying the same thing twice but expecting different results? An average Palestinian doesn't want or care about any of the above, and the Hamas' and Hezbollah's' of the region just have one goal - kill Jews.

The horrible thing now is that international diplomacy has taken on an anti-Semitic tinge, thanks to the U.N. being essentially an organization controlled by despot ruled countries. Now that is flowing to the west. Hey it's now cool to be anti-Semitic to those same type of idiot westerners that used to wear Che Guevara t-shirts. Hey, why not. Communism killed 100 million and they got a lousy t-shirt.
