Those generally look different to me. One side of my family is German and I don't see any huge resemblance of Germans to Norwegians or the Dutch (besides the obvious of being white). I can see similarities in Scandinavian people though.

I cannot generalize by country, because having lived among many expats in a small country each country tends to have at least five ethnic looks. I won't always know where exactly they come from, but I know that each country pops out a certain look. English women for instance, I'm not sure why, but most of them here have a certain look: short, on the plumper side and blonde. Funnily enough they nearly always have a haircut that is somewhere between the ears and shoulders. I'm not sure where in England they come from, but it's such a typical look that cannot be confused with any other nationality and they all happen to come here. I'm not saying that all English women fit that description, quite the opposite actually, but it's one of the "looks".

I like Northern Slavs. A long, straight nose that somewhat curves up, light eyes and usually a dark blonde to light brown hair. Germanics can have noses that are too harsh for my tastes and noses are one of the things I look at the most on the face. Plus Slavs tend to have fuller lips, which I like, though funnily enough my husband does not have that trait, but he does have the cute long nose. I also like Scandianvians. I like the face structures.

I am a picky person though and if I were to base everything on looks I'd be in the doghouse. Luckily enough personality really does it for me, so if the person is an ass I'll usually find them distateful looking in the end anyway.

I am not attracted to: Kazakhstanis or any of the other Asian ex-Soviet countries, Arabs, Persians, Turks, etc.

Spaniards are nice, as well as Italians, but I prefer the lighter Italians rather than the stereotype of a Southerner: slicked-back dark hair that has a curl to it, in a shirt that reveals his rippling chest, who wants to give that special foreign woman the night of her life. After all the amazing sex and pasta binging (all lovingly prepared by his wonderful and talented Mother, of course) talks to her about all his lovers and then mentions his wife.

I agree that Italian men are externally good looking, but after learning how they generally are (mentality and such), they're not that attractive anymore IMO.

Every body will simply vote for there own country and nationality . There is no real honest answer to this sought of question as people stick to there own race or nationality. I will say Australian men are the best looking in the world followed by the Spanish in second place.

I can easily spot a Norwegian when I'm abroad. The same with Swedes. Of course I'm talking about the typical tall (dark)blonde male or blonde female. For non-Scandinavians, I guess we look pretty much the same as Germans or Dutch people.
